So ever since I was a very young boy I loved watching Disney films such as Mulan, Snow White, and, of course, the one and only Beauty and the Beast. These movies, believe it or not, taught me to find the good in people and to have a positive attitude towards any obstacle that comes my way.
Not only are these movies amazing, but they also build character and create childhood memories. That is why I loved the fact that Disney made the bold move to recreate Beauty and the Beast. This movie was great for the kids, but also for the adults who essentially grew up alongside the original movie.
It is a nice treat for the entire family – no one is too old to go out and enjoy Beauty and the Beast.
Now I hate to give away spoilers, so I won’t say too much, but the fact that Disney was able to include real life scenarios in this movie was pretty great. There is a same sex couple in the movie, which I believe is the first time Disney has done this. I thought that was pretty cool.
If you have not watched this movie you need to stop whatever you are currently doing (which if you’re like me is sitting on the couch doing absolutely nothing) and get up and go experience the world wide sensation that is Beauty and the Beast. See you at the movies!Â
