Beginning today, every Friday on Juan of Words I’ll be offering a weekly vlog series titled Viernes Vloguero. Why? Just for fun… and because I’m hoping it will be a good kickoff to all of our weekends. At the very least, a good laugh at my expense.
What will be on it? Mostly burradas that I come up with, strictly for your entertainment, prometo, along with any of your cool ideas that I’m brave enough to carry out… or able to produce in a halfway decent manner. So this first vlog is on Machos vs. Metrosexuals! Well, more accurately, on how this mexicano came to the realization that I do have more metrosexual in me than I would care to admit. The proof is in all the chucherias stashed away in my restroom right now. Way more than junk than I would have ever imagined!
Can you say facial scrubs and blackhead strips? ¡Uuyy, que cosas!

As far away as I am as a macho metrosexual, I do have many products to help me out! I have no problem with a nice hot-epsom salt-eucalyptus spearmint bubble bath. And then the face – the hair…
jajaja! Can’t say I’m into the bubble baths… but nothing wrong with a little rest and relaxation I guess 🙂

Ezzy, no offense, but lol… those are a lot of products and way more specific than mine. Ah, well at least you and my wife can rest assured your men will be wrinkle free for years to come, jajaja… totally kidding, at least on my part 🙂
And hey there Tracy, that is pretty weird! I tell you, it’s like we’ve been separated at birth… all the commonalities??? Maybe I should speak to my parents, lol… no te creas, you’ll just keep being mi hermana!
Okay – this is weird – you use a lot of the same products we use. LOL. We buy that gel a lot of the time, I MUST have Head & Shoulders as my shampoo, (but I switch between conditioners all the time.) The apricot face scrub has saved my life. LOL. I can’t believe I’m 32 and still trying to prevent acne but using that scrub once a day has almost totally eliminated that problem for me. (BTW – the store brand face scrub works just as well!)
As for the Aveeno shaving cream – that stuff is nice but I don’t usually splurge on it. I just use soap.
Carlos is also obsessed with Q-tips. LOL.

Wow, that was hilarious 🙂 but still, if you lined up your wife’s products, they would defeat yours in numbers right?? My Mom gradually took over the entire restroom, so that Dad was eased out and into another one 🙂
