Yesterday, I wrote a post. It took me all of 45 minutes to write the first draft. Fifteen minutes to edit the second draft. One email to send it to Anjelica for review. And 24 hours to decide not to hit publish after all. Since about four years ago, when we first started this website, we have become each other’s filters on all editorial content for Juan of Words.
“What do you think?”
“Is it too much?”
“Should I hit publish?”
That’s usually how the conversation begins. And then, after careful consideration and discussion, one of us will weigh in with a final decision… or recommendation, I should say.
It really is quite nice to have that confianza between us.
