'The Most Impactful Latinos Through The Decades' Campaign Launches, Sponsored by AARP

— This Year’s Featured Guests Are Edward James Olmos and Pablo Montero —

LOS ANGELES, CA — September 13, 2022 — (NOTICIAS NEWSWIRE) — Dávila Multicultural Insights Consulting (DMI Consulting) announced today that AARP will be the exclusive Hispanic Heritage Month 2022 sponsor for a new campaign to recognize the most impactful Latinos through the decades. The Most Impactful Latinos Through the Decades campaign features two legendary Latino artists, Edward James Olmos and Pablo Montero.

The campaign offers a series of two-and-a-half-minute video segments featuring Hispanic icons whose work and accomplishments have touched the hearts of millions and whose success has transcended over the decades. These Hispanic icons are not only considered by many to be masters of their professions, but have also prioritized giving back to the Latino community. The campaign videos will appear across major websites and media outlets, and are expected to garner millions of views during the four-week run, premiering in two parts between September and October.

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month this year, we will spotlight the award-winning actor Edward James Olmos and Mexican superstar Pablo Montero. They represent both Mexican and Mexican American communities and are known for uniting the Latino community regardless of their country of birth. These video segments are also being moderated by three-time Emmy award-winning broadcast journalist, author, and Latino television personality, María Celeste Arrarás.

To elevate excitement for this campaign, DMI Consulting will be offering two virtual previews allowing attendees to get a first look at these video segments before they are made available to the public. Both events are free and all registrants will receive an exclusive digital bonus just for registering to attend.

This first preview event, to be held on Tuesday, September 20, will showcase the two English- language video segments featuring Edward James Olmos. Considered cinematic royalty, Olmos is an award-winning actor, producer, writer, director, and activist. He has significant crossover appeal into the general market; recognizable worldwide for his roles in films, such as "Stand and Deliver" and "Blade Runner," and for also directing "American Me." He is also filming the fifth season of the FX Network’s “Mayans M.C.”.

The second preview event, to be held on Thursday, October 6, will showcase the two Spanish- language video segments featuring Pablo Montero. Montero, while primarily a singer, is one of the most well-known supporting actors appearing in telenovelas. A Mexican paparazzi favorite and teen idol, Montero has also found success with several chart-topping albums and singles in the Latin market.

“It is an honor to be able to produce this wonderful campaign, meant to uplift the Latino community by recognizing both the professional and personal contributions of some of its members to the benefit of the whole. Our choices this year are meant to reflect the kaleidoscope of culture within the Latino sphere, all while showcasing that we are united by a common thread no matter where we are born,” says Gilbert Dávila, DMI Consulting Founder and CEO.

“At AARP, we support Latinos around the country and celebrate our vibrant culture during Hispanic Heritage Month and beyond. As a proud sponsor, we’re excited to see this campaign come to life through the stories of the legendary artists who inspire our audience,” stated Yvette Peña, Vice President of Audience Strategy, Office of Diversity Equity & Inclusion at AARP.

The first free virtual preview event, featuring Edward James Olmos, will take place on September 20 at 7 p.m. ET. The second free virtual preview event, featuring Pablo Montero, will take place on October 6 at 7 p.m. ET. Registration is required to access each event. Both virtual events will stream on the Vimeo platform, which will allow up to 12,000 attendees to participate in each of these once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Depending on which event they register for, registrants will also receive an exclusive digital autographed photo of either Edward James Olmos or Pablo Montero, courtesy of DMI Consulting. Strategic partners, producers, and media allies for this event include BIPOC Filter, Chaman Films, Soundwave Riders, FizzyLabs, HypeSmack, and Producer Richy Miranda-Cortese.
