Dora The Explorer: The Live Action Film?

‘Modern Family’s’ Ariel Winter as Dora the Explorer.

This is not necessarily new, but it is kind of funny…  I guess.  Digo, how many spoofs on the Nickelodeon character Dora The Explorer are not already out there?!  The worst one, according to me, is the one that incorporates Consuela from Family Guy to poke fun at the eight year old bilingual cartoon character in the future.  Aunque también it always makes me crack up every time I come across it online.  Then there is this picture, which I have to admit is my favorite:

This is my all time favorite Dora spoof, lol!

I want to know who the real person is underneath that getup!

Pero bueno, in this video Dora takes on a whole new persona.  While she still sports her signature tee, shorts, Backpack, and most importantly that bowl cut hairdo, she’s now also “The World’s Greatest Explorer!”  I know, LOL!  It’s the trailer for the movie spoof of Dora’s first live action film: Dora The Explorer – The Search For The Infinity Orb.  I’m starting to think this might not be such a far-fetched idea.  They did make that movie about Abraham Lincoln being a vampire, no?  I thought that was one of the dumbest movies ever!

Brought to life by Modern Family’s Ariel Winter, this new Dora still cares about the importance of teaching children and families bilingual skills, but she’s definitely not afraid to shoot a couple of rounds of blow things up if she has to.  Think of her as a mix between Rambo and Carmen Sandiego… educating the world, but ready to open up a can of “whipass” at any time.  Maybe there’s even some Chuck Norris in there?

Whatever the case, Dora’s not messing around anymore y’all!

Also making an appearance in this trailer is her good friend Diego.  What do you think?  Is it enough with Dora the Explorer spoofs already?

  1. LMAO!!! That was hilarious! I’ve been watching the video all day with Hubby and the kiddies! I think this Dora movie would be so much better than Abe Lincoln: Vampire Slayer. 😛
